Samuel Alemu, Esq.

Mr. Alemu is the Managing Partner at International Legal and Business Services Group, LLP. Alemu is a founding partner of the firm and an attorney at law. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, the University of Wisconsin Law School, and AAU law School. He has more than two decades of legal experience as a Practicing Attorney, Director of a Multinational Company in the US, and a High Court Judge in Ethiopia. His practice now concentrates on US Federal Law and New York Corporate Law. Mr. Alemu is admitted to practice law in New York State, US District Court – Northern District of Illinois, the United States Court of International Trade, and the United States Tax Court.

Praveen C. Medikundam, Esq.

Praveen C Medikundam Esq. is a partner of the law firm International Legal and Business Services Group, LLP. He is an alumnus of Temple Law School in Philadelphia earning his Master of Laws, LL.M. Praveen is licensed to practice law in New York and in U.S. Federal Law. With extensive knowledge in U.S immigration law, and corporate and international transactions, Praveen represents clients from around the world in U.S Immigration, complex corporate restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions matters. With experience in Federal and New York Corporate Law, a license to practice in the United States, and corporate law admissions in the United Kingdom and India, Praveen assists clients in all forms of immigration and corporate strategies.

Haripriya Medikundam, Esq.

Haripriya Medikundam Esq. is a managing attorney at ILBSG. She holds a Master’s degree in Law from Loyola University, Chicago and a Post Graduate Diploma in Arbitration from ICADR, NALSAR University and a LLB from Osmania University, India. She has rich experience in handling various petitions including RFEs, Motions to Re-Open and Appeals. She works closely with Attorney Samuel on special projects and heads our special projects group. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois.

Thejaswini Mohan, Esq.

Thejaswini Mohan Esq. is a managing attorney for the firm. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Texas School of Law, a PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from the National Law School, India and a Bachelor of Law from University Law College, India. She handles Green Card and H-1B petitions and responds to USCIS requests for further evidence. She previously worked as a Legal Associate at Infosys Technologies Limited. She is admitted to practice in the state of New York and Federal Law.

Julia Funke, Esq.

Julia Funke, Esq. is a managing attorney at our firm. She earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Translation and Business from Northern Illinois University. Julia specializes in the full range of employment-based immigration matters, with an emphasis on motions and appeals work. She is passionate about overcoming complex denials and finding alternative routes to relief for her clients. Outside of ILBSG, Julia puts her immigration expertise into practice, teaching Immigration Law at a local public college. She is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois and Federal Law.

Aiemero Leuleseged, Esq.

Aiemero S. Leuleseged, Esq. is a managing attorney at our firm. He earned his L.L.M. from Stockholm University, Sweden specializing in International Commercial Arbitration Law. He earned his L.L.B. from Haramaya University, Ethiopia. He joined our firm in 2010 as a Paralegal, and later, as Legal Practice Manager. He has previously worked as Assistant Attorney for Ethiopian Airlines, Office of the General Counsel. Attorney Aiemero has extensive experience in handling H1Bs, i-140s, PERM Audits, DOL Supervised Recruitments, RFEs, ITR/ITD responses, Asylum, contract review/drafting, incorporating businesses, trademarks, and more. He is admitted to practice in the State of California and Federal Law.

Bharath Reddy Jutur, Esq.

Bharath Reddy Jutur, Esq. is a senior attorney with an L.L.M. from The George Washington University Law School, Washington DC. He also holds an L.L.B. and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications from India. He practiced law for four years in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, India before moving to the United States. His area of expertise lies in H-1B petitions and family immigration petitions. He is admitted to practice in the state of New York and Federal Law.

Leyia Getachew, Esq.

Leyia Getachew, Esq. is a senior attorney at our firm. She earned her J.D. from DePaul College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies from Wayne State University. She handles Family Based Immigration Petitions, and has extensive experience in the area. She also has experience with Asylum cases and U-Visa cases. Swapna Kilani, Esq.

Swapna Kilani, Esq. is a senior attorney at our firm. She earned her J.D. from The University of South Dakota School of Law, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her previous experience is in civil and criminal litigation, and has previously worked as a 711 licensed law clerk for the Cook County Public Defender's Office. She has also worked and has experience with H-1B petitions and RFEs. She is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois and Federal Law.

Camey Lovelace

Camey Lovelace, Esq. is an associate attorney with International Legal and Business Services Group. Camey graduated cum laude with her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, earning a double bachelor of arts in Law and Spanish. Furthering her legal education, Camey earned a J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, also graduating cum laude. Active in several law-related groups, Camey is dedicated to the practice of law. She is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and Federal Courts.

Margaret Ferran

Margaret Ferran, Esq. is an associate attorney with International Legal and Business Services Group. Margaret graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, emphasis in Directing and Theatrical Production. After a brief time with The Second City in Chicago, Margaret earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law; during her legal studies, she participated in several student groups and was a two-time oralist in NYU's annual Immigration Moot Court Competition. She is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, the State of Minnesota, and Federal Courts.
