A rising number of U.S. citizens have been told by immigration agencies to leave the country. These instances are creating a great amount of confusion, as it’s unknown if U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) really told citizens to leave, or if its merely a glitch in the system.

The expansion of DHS, USCIS, and FBI engagement with immigration enforcement is facilitating removals of green card holders. This is done through wellness checks, conducted by FBI agents on migrant children.

The tech industry is bracing itself for a repeat of Trump’s first term, while many international university students are concerned about reprisals against those that participated in protests in 2024.

A Trump administration enforcement effort likely affects the Cuban-American community, a major GOP voter base. By dismantling the Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (CHNV) parole program, removing legal status from 500,00 foreign nationals. Cubans make up the majority of the affected group.
