Q: Is there a company size requirement to hire foreign workers?

A: There are no size requirements for a firm interested in hiring foreign workers.

Q: How many H-1B visas can a single company be awarded?

A: There are no limits to the number of H-1B visas a single employer can receive. However, the H-1B system uses a lottery system to determine eligibility to file an H-1B. Each company is limited to the number of lottery selections received to complete the related H-1B filings.

A: A total of 65,000 H-1B visas are available each fiscal year. An additional 20,000 H-1B visas are available for individuals with a Master’s degree or higher from U.S. universities. The U.S. Government fiscal year is from October 1 to September 30.

Q: What fees are required to complete the H-1B visa process?

There are optional fees for expediting the filing available. Of course, there are attorney fees as well. Contact us if you want to find out more about the specifics of the cost.

Q: How long is an H-1B valid?
