The expansion of the myProgress (previously known as personalized processing times) program will now include Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status, and Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. The initial expansion is for Afghan special immigrant I-485 applicants.
The myProgress program gives individuals who have access to personalized estimates of their wait times for various milestones and actions. This includes an estimated date of the final case decision. It’s critical to remember that estimates use case type and historical results and are not a guarantee. The program was introduced to improve the customer experience for those filing, in accordance with Executive Order 14058 on Transforming Federal Customer Experience and Service Delivery to Rebuild Trust in Government Mandates. This also reduced the number of questions individuals submit to the related government entity.
myProgress is available for individuals with an online account with USCIS who file:
- Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization,
- Form I-131, Application for Travel Document;
- Form N-400, Application for Naturalization;
- Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card; or
- Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative.
