Effective December 11, 2023, the Tampa Asylum office is moving, per U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The current office closes to the public on November 29, 2023. There will be a short period between the closing of the former office and the opening in the new location. The new location will start accepting mail on November 29, 2023. Walk-in hours for the new location open on December 13, 2023. There are no changes to jurisdiction. The Tampa Asylum office will continue to manage asylum claims for individuals who live in western, northern, and a portion of central Florida.
