The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that effective May 12, 2023, non-U.S. travelers entering the United States will no longer be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Further, proof of vaccination will no longer be required. This update is effective for land ports of entry, ferry terminals, and airports. The conclusion of this policy coincides with the ending of the COVID-19 national emergency in the U.S.
