The Department of State released the June 2025 visa bulletin. The visa bulletin summarizes the availability of immigrant visas both for consular processing and adjustment of status applications to be filed in June 2025. The State Department releases both the Final Action Dates and Application Filing Dates for Employment-Based and Family-Based immigrant visas. Additionally, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) determines which chart applicants must use to file their Adjustment of Status (AOS) applications. Below, we analyze the movements in the June 2025 Visa Bulletin.

Employment-Based Categories

For June 2025, the USCIS will use the Final Action Dates chart for Employment-based visas.

On the chart, we see a modest amount of movement in employment-based categories. There was modest movement in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. There were no changes for the EB-1 and EB-5 categories. The Eb-4 category will remain unavailable until the next fiscal year.

The EB-1 final action date for India will remain at February 15, 2022. The final action date for China will remain at November 8, 2022. The final action dates for all other categories will remain current.

The EB-2 final action date for India will remain at January 1, 2013. The final action date for China will advance by two months to December 1, 2020. The final action dates for all other categories will advance by four months to October 15, 2023.

The EB-3 Professionals and Skilled Workers final action date for India will remain on April 15, 2013. The final action date for China will advance by three weeks to November 22, 2020. The final action dates of all other countries will advance by a month to February 8, 2023.

The EB-3 Other Workers final action date for China will remain on April 1, 2017. The final action date for India will remain on April 15, 2013. The final action dates for all other categories will advance by one month to June 22, 2021.

The EB-5 final action date for India will remain on May 1, 2019. The final action date for China will remain on January 22, 2014. The final action dates for all other countries will remain current. The final action dates for all other Eb-5 categories will remain current.

The EB-4 category has reached its annual limit. As a result, the EB-4 visa will be unavailable from now until the end of the fiscal year on September 30, 2025. The annual limit will be reset at the start of the fiscal year on October 1, 2025.

Family-Based Categories

In June 2025, the USCIS will use the Dates for Filing Chart for Family-Based visas.

For the Dates for Filing chart for Family-Based visas, we see very little movement. The only advancement for F4 category (Unmarried Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens) was India went up by two months to December 1, 2006. All other categories will remain current.

For the Final Action Dates chart for Family based visas, we see a moderate amount of advancement for China, India, and all other areas except Mexico and the Philippines in the F-1, F-2B, and F-3 categories.

In the F-1 category, the final action dates for India, China, and all other areas except Mexico and the Philippines will advance just under three months to June 8, 2016. The final action dates for Mexico and the Philippines will remain current.

In the F-2A category, all final action dates will remain current.

In the F-2B category, the final action dates for China, India and all other areas except Mexico and the Philippines will advance by two months to September 22, 2016. The final action dates for Mexico and the Philippines will remain current.

In the F-3 category, the final action dates for China, India and all other areas except Mexico and the Philippines will advance by over two months to June 22, 2016. The final action dates for Mexico and the Philippines will remain current.

In the F-4 category, all final action dates will remain current.
