Effective April 1, 2024, the filing location for some concurrently filed forms are changing. Concurrently filed Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing Service; Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers; and Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, and for related Forms I-131, Application for Travel Document; I-765, Application for Employment Authorization; and I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, filed with the application package, will be filed via USCIS lockbox. Effective April 1, 2024, USCIS service centers will not accept these employment-based filings and their related concurrently filed forms.

The move supports the effort to centralize petition and application intake while maximizing USCIS lockbox receipting abilities. The move is expected to drive efficiency and reduce costs related to service center intake of these forms. Further, USCIS states more resources will be focused on adjudication and case completion with this change. Lockbox locations support digitization of the forms which support electronic adjudication. With online files, resources at each location can more readily support other locations if needed.

Effective April 1, 2024, the below mailing addresses must be used when mailing concurrently filed Forms I-907, I-140, and I-485, and for any related Forms I-131, I-765, and I-824 filed with the application package.  As of May 2, 2024, submissions to USCIS service centers for the above noted documents may be rejected.
