Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) renewals remain available to qualifying holders. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) continues to focus on timely adjudicating DACA renewal requests.
Currently, all DACA renewal requests are reviewed at the Nebraska Service Center with a minor exception of requests that are pending at the Vermont Service Center. Individuals can view the estimated processing times on the USCIS website.
If individuals wish to submit their renewal request online, they should start at the Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals webpage. All DACA renewal requests must including three forms, including Form I-821D, Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, and Form I-765WS, Worksheet, along with the related fees.
For paper filings, individuals are urged to include Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance to receive notifications when the form is accepted.
As always, ILBSG actively monitors ongoing updates to U.S. immigration policy. If you have questions about the DACA renewal process or any other immigration-related issue, contact us. We work with our clients in their specific situations to ensure they get the right advice.
